Matthew Hansen, DDS

Dr. Hansen is originally from Soda Springs, Idaho. After graduating from Utah State University with a degree in Public Health, he attended the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, graduating in 2005 near the top of his class. For the past 14 years, Dr. Hansen, his wife Keri, and their four daughters have been proud to call Colorado Springs home. They love spending time together and taking advantage of all the beauty here in Colorado. When not attending his daughters’ soccer games, Dr. Hansen enjoys cycling, skiing, and hiking the areas’ beautiful mountains.

Dr. Hansen’s highest priority is serving his patients and ensuring they receive the best dental care available. He is committed to helping each patient achieve optimum oral health and truly enjoys the relationships he has established with them. As part of his commitment to providing exceptional care, Dr. Hansen routinely attends continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on the best dental techniques and procedures.

Kim, Patient Care Coordinator

Originally from Ohio, Kim has lived in Colorado Springs since 1988. She also lived in Europe for four years, completing four tours with the Air Force. Outside of the office, Kim can be found spending time with her husband Ric, playing softball and volleyball, going on long walks with her boxer dog, Jaiden, and traveling to warm, sunny places.

For nearly two decades, Kim has served the patients at High Point Dental. She is responsible for scheduling, billing, and ensuring our patients receive the treatment they need. She uses her extensive knowledge and experience to help them maximize their insurance benefits and strives to make their experience in our office a positive one.

Melonie, Dental Hygienist

Melonie grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and moved to Colorado Springs in 2011. She married her husband Scott in June 2018. When not helping patients, she loves snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain Nation Park, hiking all over Colorado, and soaking in the hot springs at Mt. Princeton. In addition to traveling she enjoys photography and crafting.

Melonie graduated from dental hygiene school in 2011 and joined the High Point Dental team in 2015. She provides gentle treatment and strives to help our patients maintain optimal oral health. Melonie enjoys building relationships with our patients and loves being a partner in their treatment goals.

Sarah – Dental Assistant

Sarah was drawn to the beautiful mountains of Colorado from Saint Louis in 2016. She always aspired to work in dentistry, so she enrolled in a dental assisting course in 2017 and began working as a dental assistant that same year. She now works as a dental assistant as well as an instructor for the school that she graduated from.

When she is not taking care of patients, Sarah enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, spending time outdoors and mostly spending time with her wonderful little boy who keeps her on her toes at all times! Sarah is committed to providing patients with gentle, ethical and quality treatment alongside the rest of the High Point Dental team!
